Silent Disco, Breathwork & Ecstatic Dance

Prepare to unleash your most authentic self at Unleashed, a silent disco breathwork & ecstatic dance experience, co-produced by City Glow and Jade Blackmore. This immersive experience invites you to reclaim your outlaw energies, find your feminine fire, and express your unbounded wholeness in a space that feels safe and encouraging. Join us on the rooftop of Wineology in Walkerville from 2 pm to 4 pm with yoga & ecstatic dance instructors Jade and Lauren, and DJ Kaelz, as we embark on a journey of self-discovery and free expression.

This experience is inspired by a desire to create more opportunities for releasing inhibitions and getting wild - without the use of alcohol and other substances. Our bodies are inherently designed to experience elevated joy, deep fulfilment, and a heightened sense of connection with one another but throughout history it's become a cultural norm in North America to rely on substances when we want to take the edge off. This event is an exploration of our innate ability to experience joy and elevation through movement, play and connection!

We chose to make this first event a womxn’s only experience to create a more focused and comfortable atmosphere for those who may otherwise feel intimidated or self-conscious in mixed-gender groups. The intent is to encourage more confidence, participation and self-expression. We hope to hold more events in the future and will refine the format, introducing new dynamics and themes, based on the feedback we receive.

The event will begin with an opening circle to set our intentions, followed by a silent disco guided meditation for embodiment. We’ll then move into energizing breathwork to raise the vibration, letting the music transport everyone into a state of free expression.
