About the event

This extended practice is designed to compliment regular Hatha Yoga classes and provide all students (beginner to experienced) an opportunity to learn, discuss and practice various aspect of Yoga, in community. 

 

As I’m sure you’ve noticed, Yoga isn’t a one size fits all practice and the cues you hear commonly in public classes are rarely applicable to everyone in the room. We’ll practice tapping into the archetype of foundational Yoga poses and safely building strength + mobility while embodying our personal experience of the shape. 

 

Workshop Highlights:

  • Brief discussion on 1 Yoga philosophy concept and how it applies to our physical practice
  • Anatomical breakdown of 2-3 foundational Yoga poses
  • Learn how to tap into your somatic experience and embody the archetype of any pose
  • Anatomical breakdown of 1 Pranayama breathing technique
  • Practice integrating Pranayama and managing your energy throughout a Yoga sequence
